Pre-college preparation

I would have to say that the time that I was best in my life was my junior year in high school. Scholastically, it was probably my most challenging year in high school. Sports was also another challenge. I had many challenges and overcame them with the best of my ability.

I tried to get as prepared for college as I could. For my classes, I took around twenty college credits. Although most of them not being a real challenge, I had a few classes that required work.  With the help of theses classes I learned how to study and prepare for tests and quizzes that will most likely show up at Iowa State University.

As for sports, this was my first year going out for football. I had never played football all through middle school or even my freshman and sophomore year. I was forced to learn a lot of information all at once. As for wrestling, this was my second year. Being another year older and more experienced, I feel like I improved vastly from my sophomore year.

Having such a challenging year, I believe, prepared me for this college experience. I was doing the best that I could do and trying my hardest. Balancing sports, friends, and school was the perfect way to get ready for college. I learned how to relieve stress, do well on tests, and also to have fun. I would say that this was my pre-college experience.
